The CIO roles and responsibilities are as follows :

• Assisting the MDPT President in implemeting tasks involving ICT Security
• Determine ICT security requirement;
• Coordinate and manage ICT safety awareness training and awareness programs such as the provisionof the MDPT ICT Security Policy and risk management and auditing ;
• Responsible for matter relating to ICT Security of Perak Tengah District Council
